In this clip from today's livestream, Ezra Levant looked at the Ontario Progressive Conservatives' Bill 218.

On the show, we played a clip of MPP Randy Hillier denouncing the Bill in the Ontario Parliament. Then, Ezra read through the Bill on air and explained some of the legalese.

Here's some of what Ezra had to say:

“If I understand it correctly, you cannot sue the government for anything they've done.

“Now why would you do that? Did they do something wrong they don't want us to know about? Did they screw up in the seniors' homes like Governor Cuomo in New York State did, sending all the sick COVID patients to the seniors homes to kill thousands and thousands? Did Doug Ford do that? And if he did, can you sue?

“You can't sue.

“And one of the side effects of a lawsuit is what's called ‘disclosure’. If you use the government about something they did wrong, you have the right to their records that touch on the matters at hand. So sometimes suing a government or other entity is the best way to learn about the government, or that entity.”
